THE BCCI’S STANCE ON THE UDRS
The UDRS, and the BCCI’s stance on the same, has been the subject of several media reports over the past few days.
The BCCI would like to reiterate that it does not accept the reliability of the ball-tracking technology, which is an integral part of the DRS. The BCCI’s position has been consistent.
VENUES – ODI AND T20 INTERNATIONAL AGAINST ENGLAND, TEST SERIES AGAINST THE WEST INDIES
The Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee of the BCCI met at the Cricket Centre earlier today.
The finalization of venues for the upcoming home series against England and West Indies (October – December 2011) was on the agenda.
The ODIs against England will be played at Kolkata, Mumbai, Mohali, Hyderabad and Delhi.
Kolkata will also host the one-off T20 International against England.
Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi will host the Tests against the West Indies.
The sequence of matches, dates and venues of the ODI series against West Indies, will be announced later.
