The National Cricket Academy will be conducting the annual camp for Under 16 boys in Bengaluru from 18th July to 17th August 2016. As many as 25 youngsters from the five zones – North, South, Central, West and East have been selected for the camp. It a meticulous process that starts with zonal camps leading to inter-zonal tournament from which the final 25 are selected for the camp at the NCA held ahead of the season. In the current calendar year, Zonal Camps were conducted from 22nd April to 21st May 2016 at Dharamsala, Baroda, Jaipur, Hubli and Ranchi which had 25 participants from each zone. 15 players from each zone were selected for the inter-zonal tournament held at Hubli, Belgaum from 24th May to 6th June 2016.
