Date: 14 February 2012 MEDIA RELEASE Joe Dawes has been appointed the Bowling Coach of the Indian team, for a period of two years. He will replace Eric Simons, whose term ends at the completion of India’s ongoing tour of Australia. A right-arm paceman, Dawes represented Queensland in Australia’s domestic circuit in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He got into coaching subsequently. He started in that capacity at Queensland.
