Kerala v Karnataka
Ganesh Sathish (90) and Amit Verma (85) took Karnataka to a mighty total of 315, which the bowlers defended without breaking a sweat. While Sathish was the more cautious of the two, using 105 balls for his knock, Verma reached his score in 65 balls with the help of eight fours and two sixes. Kerala’s Rohan Prem (114) scored his second century in as many matches but ended on the losing side.
Andhra Pradesh v Hyderabad
Pragyan Ojha claimed a five-for, while conceding just 19 runs, to skittle out Andhra for 107, laying the foundation for a six-wicket win for Hyderabad. The left-arm spinner rocked the top-order before returning to clean off the tail. Ashish Reddy and Pagadala Nayudu scalped two wickets each. Hyderabad lost four wickets in the easy chase but a solid 42 from skipper Ravi Teja got them home in 22.4 overs.
Tamil Nadu v Goa
Goa created the biggest upset of the tournament so far by drubbing the strong Tamil Nadu team by seven wickets. Fielding first, Goa dismissed TN for 200 on the back of inspired bowling from Robin D’Souza (three for 24) and Shadab Jakati (three for 36). Swapnil Asnodkar struck an attractive unbeaten 102 off 104 balls to see Goa home without much fuss. Rahul Keni accompanied him with an individual score of 70 not out.

Vidarbha v Railways
Thanks to three-wicket hauls from Shailender Gehlot (three for 33) and Sanjay Bangar (three for 26), Railways defended a modest total of 222 against Vidarbha. At the end of a closely fought contest which went to the last ball, Railways emerged victorious by four runs as Vidarbha ended their innings at 218 for seven in 50 overs. A solid knock of 84 from Amol Ubarhande went in vain. For Railways, Shivakant Shukla (47) and Rajesh Bishnoi (52) made significant batting contributions.
Uttar Pradesh v Madhya Pradesh
In another low-scoring encounter of the day, MP mauled UP by nine wickets with 213 balls to spare. TP Sudhindra (three for 10 in nine overs) and Ankit Sharma (three for 25 in 9.4 overs) restricted the UP batsmen and dismissed the team for 105. Naman Ojha (43 off 32 balls) and Jalaj Saxena (40* off 37 balls) were in a hurry to finish the match off, which eventually happened in the 15th over.
