Summary
Shaun Pollock says it remains to be seen if South Africa can survive for 90 overs on Day 5
The fourth day’s play was quite intense. Not many runs were scored, but it was interesting to see South Africa survive. They lost two wickets but it was all about Hashim Amla and AB de Villiers, who managed to bat for a substantial period of time. Will the Indian team be able to pick eight wickets in 90 overs of time? Can India find something that can break the partnership and start of a momentum heading their direction? We will have to see if South Africa can survive. Faf du Plessis is still to come and we have seen him bat for long periods. Who can forget the innings he played in Adelaide and also the innings he played at Wanderers against India. It will all be about survival for South Africa and whether India have got the penetration required to end the partnership and get the remaining wickets.
