Colombo, 27 March 2011
As the teams are reduced to just four, the match official appointments for the semi-final stage of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 have been announced. The first semi-final will take place in Colombo on Tuesday and will feature Sri Lanka and New Zealand with the focus then shifting to Mohali for India v Pakistan on Wednesday.
The match official appointments are as follows:
29 March - Sri Lanka v New Zealand, Colombo
Chris Broad (match referee), Steve Davis and Aleem Dar (both on-field), Marais Erasmus (third umpire), Billy Doctrove (fourth umpire)
30 March - India v Pakistan, Mohali
Ranjan Madugalle (match referee), Simon Taufel and Ian Gould (both on-field), Billy Bowden (third umpire), Rod Tucker (fourth umpire)
Appointments for the final will be made in due course.
