Cuttack Jan 20: Central Zone were 169/3 at stumps on Day 2 of the Duleep Trophy quarter-final being played at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.

At the end of day’s play, Mohammed Kaif was batting on 78 and Naman Ojha on 50. Captain Hrishikesh Kanitkar was out after scoring 28 runs.

Earlier, resuming on an overnight score of 328/5 with WP Saha and AK Sahoo batting, East Zone were all out for 427 in the 1st innings. Pankaj Singh took four wickets for Central Zone.

Saha made 69 runs before being run out. Put in to bat by Central Zone yesterday, Ishank Jaggi (118 runs) and skipper Manoj Tiwary (109 runs) were involved in a 208-run partnership for the third wicket.
