Media Advisory Mr. Jagmohan Dalmiya's gift as he embarks on his journey to heaven As per the wishes of Mr. Jagmohan Dalmiya, who left for heavenly abode on 20th of September 2015, his eyes have been donated to Vanmukta Eye Bank, a part of Susrut Eye Foundation and Research Centre, Kolkata. It may be recalled that social welfare programmes about ' Eradication of Blindness' which included restoration of eye-sight through cornea grafting and transplantations were initiated by Mr. Dalmiya earlier. The themes were widely known as 'Cricket for Life beyond Death' and 'Chance of Second Innings'. BCCI
