Female trainers working with women’s teams to take part in the two-day workshop
Taking forward its mission to integrate working pattern of the senior national team into the domestic setup, the Board of Control for Cricket in India, National Cricket Academy will conduct a two-day camp for Strength & Conditioning coaches for women currently working with the women’s teams. A S&C workshop was held at the NCA where trainers and physios managing the Ranji teams took part. The workshop to be held on June 27-28 in Bengaluru will aim to bridge the gap between the national team and state teams apart from updating the trainers with latest trends. The endeavor is to synchronize the approach followed by the national team across various age groups teams that take part in the domestic tournaments conducted by the Board. Another objective of the workshop is to ascertain fitness of trainers, their practical knowledge, technique work in the gym and running drills.
