It was a very good day of Test cricket as one got to see good bowling while batting too was very good. It was a treat to watch Morne Morkel bowl. Normally Morkel prefers to bowl short of length but to get wickets, you have to bowl full. Morkel did that on day-three. He got Murali Vijay out with a short ball while bowled full to Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma. Morkel is varying his length and that is a good sign for South African cricket. From India’s point of view, Rahane and Virat gave a batting demonstration to South Africa batsmen. I am slightly worried for Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma. They both are attacking batsmen but are low on self confidence due to their lack of form. I feel sending Rohit at No.3 was an incorrect decision. On the other hand, Rahane and Virat batted so well. That is how the game unfolds. You have two happy batsmen and two worried men.
