Haryana’s TP Sudhindra claims seven wickets

Mumbai, Dec 15: Tamil Nadu declared their first innings on 698 for the loss of eight wickets after adding just five runs to their overnight score. At the end of Day 3, Gujarat were 293 for the loss of four wickets with PR Parmar batting on 45 and Manprit Juneja on 84.

Haryana v MPCA: After posting a first-innings total of 487, MP bowled out Haryana for 126. TP Sudhindra led the charge, claiming seven wickets in Haryana's first innings. Following on, Haryana put up a better performance in the second innings and were 147 for the loss of two wickets when play was called off on the third day.

Bengal v Delhi: Chasing Delhi's 392, Bengal made 358 for the loss of eight wickets as they inched closer to the target on Day 3. Manoj Tiwary remained unbeaten on 163 as the hosts still trail by 34 runs at the Eden Gardens with two wickets in hand. Scoring a half-century, skipper Sourav Ganguly was the second-highest scorer for Bengal. Pradeep Sangwan was the highest wicket-taker for Delhi with a four-wicket haul.

Rajasthan v Saurashtra: Pankaj Singh claimed a five-for to help wrap up Saurashtra's first innings for 265 after the hosts had posted a modest 396 in their first innings. When play ended today, Rajasthan had scored 169 and lost only one wicket, that of Vineet Saxena. The defending champions now lead by 300 runs and have veterans Akash Chopra (87) and captain Hrishikesh Kanitkar (38) at the crease.

Karnataka v Punjab: Stuart Binny hit 119 while CM Gautam contributed 62 in Karnataka's first innings total of 281 while Harmeet Singh picked four wickets for Punjab at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Punjab were 119 for the loss of three wickets in their second innings at the end of day's play.
