SK Yadav slams double ton for Mumbai

Mumbai, Nov 30: A double century by SK Yadav helped Mumbai reach a first-innings score of 529 runs on Day 2 of their Ranji encounter against Orissa in Cuttack. After the visitors declared their innings, Mumbai bowlers Dhawal Kulkarni (four wickets), Avishkar Salvi (two wickets) and Zaheer Khan (one wicket) left the hosts fumbling at 57 for the loss of seven wickets at stumps.

Delhi v Baroda: After bowling out Baroda for 318 earlier in the day, Delhi were foundering on five for 74 runs. But Puneet Bist’s unbeaten 114 rescued the hosts who ended the day on 250 for the loss of six wickets. Pacer Irfan Pathan claimed a five-for for Baroda.

Haryana v Bengal: Ashok Dinda's five-wicket haul, and three wickets by Iresh Saxena, ended Haryana's first innings for 385 runs. Amit Mishra then claimed two wickets as Bengal ended the day on 113 for two wickets.

Jharkhand v Assam: Assam's first innings score of 502 included three tons. After Dheeraj Jadhav's century yesterday, Amit Sinha, who was batting on 79 at stumps on Day 1, went on to make 109 while Gokul Sharma hit 115. Abu Nechim Ahmed then claimed two early wickets to leave Jharkhand on 25 for the loss two wickets on Day 2.

Kerala v Andhra: After being bowled out for 130, the Kerala bowlers bundled out Andhra for a first-innings score of just 74 runs.

Sony Cheruvathur was the leading wicket-taker for Kerala, claiming six wickets for 25 runs. Andhra's T Atchuta Rao also picked six wickets for 43 runs to end Kerala's first innings.

Coming out to bat, Kerala were on 81 for the loss of seven wickets with KS Shahbuddin and G Shankar Rao having picked three wickets each.

MPCA v Gujarat: Gujarat's Mehul Patel claimed five wickets while Ishwar Chaudhary picked four to wrap up MPCA's first innings for 205. Gujarat have lost one wicket for 45 runs in their second innings.
