Overcast conditions and heavy showers last night once again didn’t allow for the match to take place on Day 4 of the Duleep Trophy final between South Zone and North Zone.

Play was called off early in the morning session without a ball bowled at the Nehru Stadium in Kochi.

With no play on two consecutive days, South Zone remains on 33 for the loss of two wickets in the first innings.

Play is scheduled to start fifteen minutes early on the fifth day (October 21).
