Report: Ind A vs WI A, 2nd four-day game, Day 3
Summary

WI A take 75-run lead

After bowling India A out for 359 earlier in the day, West Indies A were leading by 75 runs with all wickets intact in the second innings at stumps on Day 3 of the second four-day game.

Earlier, VA Jagdeesh was the first to depart after adding just seven runs to his overnight score after taking guard. 32 runs later Abhishek Nayar followed him back in the hut; he was trapped leg-before by Nikita Miller leaving the home team on 245 for five. But the lower order failed to build on the platform laid by the fourth-wicket pair of Jagdeesh and Nayar for 99 runs. Although Uday Kaul valiantly held up one end against the WI A attack, the rest of the India A lower order succumbed without much resistance. The wicketkeeper-batsman was left stranded on 64, while his team was bowled out for 359.

While Assad Fudadin claimed Mohammad Kaif, Narsingh Deonarine dismissed Parvez Rasool and Miguel Cummins, who had given the visitors their first breakthrough of the day. And Fudadin wrapped-up the innings with the wicket of Mohammed Shami.

In reply, the West Indies A scored 28 for no loss, at the Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering Ground in Shimoga in their second innings. When play ended, openers Kraigg Brathwaite and Kieran Powell were batting on 18 and nine respectively.
