Suchith’s six-for takes Karnataka to a four-wicket win

Chasing 181 on the last day of the three-day game, Karnataka cantered to a four-wicket win against Bangladesh ‘A’ in Mysore. Although Karnataka were left on 13 for two skipper CM Gautam (49) then steadied the innings while Shreyas Gopal took the team to the finish line with an unbeaten 40. Earlier, after resuming on 188 for three with a 59-run lead with seven wickets in hand on Day 3, Bangladesh ‘A’ posted 309 before being bowled out. Overnight batsman Liton Das was the first to be sent back for 38 adding one run to his overnight score by M Prasidh. A few overs later Soumya Sarkar was dismissed by HS Sharath for 43. Although Nasir Hossain (44) and Shuvagata Hom (50*) took the team to 285, the rest of the line-up caved in to Suchith, who ended the stand with the wicket of the former. The bowler claimed six for sixty to warp up the visitors earlier in the day.
