Southampton, Sept 6: The Rose Bowl cricket ground hosts the second ODI of the five-match series between England and India.

England have brought in Ravi Bopara into their side while India have replaced the injured Rohit Shama with Manoj Tiwary.

Captain speak:

Alastair Cook (England)

On the match: “Once we knew the scenario, we made our plans in that direction. [It’s] pretty much a Twety20 game”.

On losing the toss: “We were looking to bowl first also. We lack part-timers and in these conditions, if we bowl first, with our batting, we can look to chase whatever the opposition scores.”

On the team: “We have the kind of combination we were looking for. The fielding department is strengthened a bit with all the youngsters coming in.”
