West Indies announce 12-member squad for Test series

Jason Holder will lead the squad that has an uncapped all-rounder Roston Chase

The West Indies Cricket Board has announced a 12-man squad for the four-match Test series against India with the first Test to be played in Antigua from July 21. Uncapped all-rounder Roston Chase, who had a successful domestic season was included in the squad to be led by Jason Holder. Opening batsman Leon Johnson, who last played a Test in January this year was recalled to the side. Shai Hope, who scored a century against the Indians in the practice game at the Warner Park in St. Kitts was left out. The new-ball attack will be shared by Shannon Gabriel and Carlos Brathwaite with Holder as another option, while leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo will lead the spin attack.
